POSTCreate

A create request is used to create new objects. To create objects, make an HTTP POST request to the following URL: https://api.tripit.com/v1/create The client must POST a single Request object as the value of the request parameter xml in the POST body of the request.

Authorization:

Get your keys from https://www.tripit.com/developer . When building an application you should ultimately use the OAuth authentication scheme for allowing TripIt users to grant access to their data for your application. Note that this authentication scheme is off by default for every TripIt user. If you want to have this turned on for your account so you can use it for development purposes please send email to support@tripit.com. Enabling Basic Authentication for an account does not disable OAuth authentication for that same account.
